Patch Testing Policy
Patch Testing Policy – BLINK
What is a Lash Adhesive Patch Test?
A patch test is a precautionary test that should be carried out at home or by a professional to ensure no allergic reaction occurs before using our eyelash adhesive.
How to Perform a Patch Test for BLINK Lash Adhesive
Option 1: On the natural lashes
• Using a micropore brush, apply a small amount of BLINK adhesive to three individual lashes on the outer corner of one eye.
• Wait 24 hours to check for any irritation, redness, itching, or swelling.
• If no reaction occurs, you can safely proceed with full application.
• We recommend having a professional perform this test.
Option 2: Behind the ear (For strip lash glue)
• Apply a tiny drop of adhesive behind the ear, on the lower side, using a micropore brush.
• Leave it for 24 hours and monitor for any reaction.
• If irritation occurs, wash thoroughly with cold water and discontinue use.
What to Do If You Experience a Reaction?
• If you notice itching, swelling, redness, or discomfort, rinse the area immediately with cold water for several minutes.
• If irritation persists, seek medical attention before using any adhesive again.
Shelf Life of Adhesives
• All lash adhesives have a shelf life of 12 months (unopened) from the date of purchase.
We recommend performing a patch test 48 hours before using any new lash adhesive. Your safety is our priority!
